A Moroccan proverb once said, “there is no beauty but the beauty of action”, meaning that thoughts and words are nice and can sound good, but it is our actions that make the ultimate difference. The actions we take today and plan for tomorrow have the power to change the world around us. Riggco hope for humanity recognizes the faces and needs of the people living on the fringes of society. Riggsco hope for humanity seeks to highlight the voices and disproportionate needs of the people and groups who continue to be oppressed, discriminated against, and excluded because of the identities they hold.
We are committed to the empowerment of marginalized people. We strive to create opportunities for people to regain control and power over their lives while recognizing their whole selves in every area of life. Riggsco hope for humanity employs a dynamic, multi-dimensional framework centering on three domains of empowerment: education, economic/financial literacy, and health.
Education has been a normed requirement for many of us, but for others, education is a privilege only afforded to some. Riggsco hope for humanity seeks to address educational barriers by providing access to GCE preparation.
Without a thorough understanding of finance, making informed decisions about how to spend or save money is challenging. The impact of financial decisions can be felt for generations, making it imperative that we choose wisely. Riggsco hope for humanity will offer classes that focus on understanding basic finance principles, introduction to entrepreneurship, and preparing for retirement.
Riggsco hope for humanity believes in taking a holistic approach that emphasizes the importance of physical and mental health. Through collaboration with community and private partners, Riggsco hope for humanity will offer individual and group therapy.
Additionally, community members will have access to trusted liaisons from local clinics and hospitals as well as the opportunity to attend topical workshops that focus on addressing different health issues.
